In 2015 WKVT’s Chris Lenois contacted the Historical Society in hopes of producing a weekly local history segment for his show, “Green Mountain Mornings”.  Board members Joe Rivers and Reggie Martell partnered with Brattleboro Area Middle School to produce the segments.  Joe was a teacher at the school and Reggie was a technology enthusiast who knew how to create the recordings.  Since then, a weekly local history segment/podcast has been created by the Society. The segments have been archived on the Historical Society’s Soundcloud channel.  Most of the recordings were produced with the help of middle school students.  Other Historical Society board members have also contributed to the local history stories.  In 2025 Joe retired from teaching and Historical Society volunteers have continued producing the weekly recordings.
